In summertime Hydrangeas flank the Italian gardens and English walled garden, they smother the rear of the hall and sweetly scented roses clamber the walls and gateways. A heady scent of blossom and lilac welcomes you in Spring and in Autumn the estate catches fire with deep gold and red as the ivy enveloping the hall and portico turns the deepest crimson.

From the front of the impressive Georgian hall overlooking our private nine hole golf course, the expansive tennis lawn by our hidden outdoor dining terrace, the courtyard and romantic walled garden to our outside bar, lounge, barn and indoor bar, your guests have space and privacy to relax and explore in total privacy.

Our barn at Wootton Hall is drenched in glorious light throughout the day and proves to be a genuinely breathtaking space for your guests to arrive into for dinner.

The estate flows effortlessly from our impressive Georgian hall, across the hidden gravel driveway to secret doorways in the Italian gardens which bring you bursting out into our English walled garden. Flanked by our barn, courtyard and outdoor bar the walled garden provides the perfect backdrop to host your drinks reception before we welcome you and your guests to enjoy the barn’s elegant charm for the first time.

Recently renovated, the transformation of the interior to an elegant yet still authentic space is breathtaking. You are welcomed softly into the barn along with the breeze as the doors are opened and the grace and gentleness of the space is fully appreciated.

With a nod to the estate’s history, guests dine on handmade tables created from enormous slices of wood from a cedar tree that had graced the estate with its impressive presence for decades, before living on in the memories of our wonderful couples and guests as you raise their glasses in celebration.

The barn’s structure with low beams creates the perfect opportunity for draping which brings a unique intimacy to the room.

THE WALLED GARDEN WEDDING

This breathtaking space is the epitome of romance and will impress your guests as you welcome them through the arched entrance in the wall, in between sweetly scented climbing roses.

The walled garden features our open sided marquee which looks out onto carefully planted formal gardens with gently trickling stone fountain. A serene and impressive garden to exchange your vows or to host your drinks reception after enjoying your ceremony elsewhere on the estate
